Explore the ocean from top to bottom during Summer Learning Adventure Camps offered through Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego. These fun and engaging marine science programs - designed for ages 4-15 - inspire understanding and stewardship of the ocean and its inhabitants. Camps run from June 23 to Aug. 29. Registration begins March 18!

Experience live animal encounters, hands-on activities and adventures in the field all week long or just for a day. Camps feature amazing sea creatures, tricks of animal deception in the ocean and the remarkable world of sharks, among many other activities. Older students also can learn to surf and snorkel.

Summer Learning Adventure Camps are now accredited through the American Camp Association. This nationally recognized accreditation ensures the aquarium's programs meet quality standards and provide a safe and nurturing environment for campers.
