Celebrate Springtime in the Sea during 'EGGStravaganza' at Birch Aquarium at Scripps

Family-friendly program includes special hands-on activities highlighting the wonder of reproduction in the ocean

Children of all ages can learn about reproduction in the ocean during EGGStravaganza at Birch Aquarium, March 30 - April 5.

Spring is an "eggs-tra" special time of year when many ocean animals are hatched or born. Visit Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego, to celebrate the wonders of reproduction in the sea. Spring EGGStravaganza offers hands-on family fun with marine animals and their eggs, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., March 30 - April 5. Activities are included with aquarium admission.

Come face-to-face with egg-laying marine animals, including squids, fishes and sharks. Create a shark egg craft, listen to story times and participate in a unique underwater egg hunt (no baskets needed).
