Dive into Summer Camps at Birch Aquarium at Scripps

Experience live animal encounters during summer camps.

Explore the ocean from top to bottom during Summer Learning Adventure Camps offered at Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego.

These fun and engaging ocean science programs - designed for ages 4-15 - inspire understanding and stewardship of the ocean and its inhabitants. Camps run from June 27-Aug. 26. Registration begins March 8.

Experience live animal encounters, hands-on activities and field excursions for an entire week or just a day. Camps feature amazing ocean creatures, myths of the sea, gooey dissections, the remarkable world of sharks, adventures in oceanography and the chance to learn how to surf and snorkel.

Birch Aquarium's Summer Learning Adventure Camps are accredited by the American Camp Association. This nationally recognized accreditation ensures the aquarium meets more than 300 quality standards and provides a safe and nurturing environment for campers. In addition, our instructors receive training through Kids Included Together, an organization committed to providing learning opportunities for children with and without disabilities.
